Wingrave Community Centre

Disco hire, light-up numbers, a magic mirror photo booth and a party DJ for celebrations at Wingrave Community Centre, in the village between Aylesbury and Tring.

A village hall built for a party, in the heart of Wingrave

Wingrave Community Centre sits opposite the church on Church Street, in the middle of the village between Aylesbury, Tring and Leighton Buzzard. It’s three halls that can be opened up into one space with folding doors, which is what makes it such a good party venue: a bar area to one side where people stand and chat, a second wing for tables and chairs, and the middle hall — with a raised stage and a woodblock floor — for dancing. There’s a kitchen, a licensed bar, disabled facilities and an off-road car park with outside lighting. We DJ’d a joint 60th there in September 2026 for around 100 guests and it’s a hall that suits a disco very well.

Music for every generation in the room

A village-hall party usually means three generations in one room, and the music has to work for all of them. At Wingrave that meant classic disco and Motown early on, a run of reggae and 80s singalongs, and the party classics — Macarena, Mambo No. 5, YMCA — once everyone was up. You tell us the songs that matter before the night in your booking portal, including the ones for the moments that count, and we read the room for the rest. Every booking includes a professional sound system sized for the hall, and dance-floor lighting that turns a community centre into a party venue after dark.

Why choose Fill The Floor Discos for disco hire at Wingrave Community Centre

We know the hall. The stage takes our full setup with power close by, load-in is just two steps from the car park straight into the main hall, and because the two wings sit either side of the main hall the sound fills the dancing space without overpowering the conversation areas. We’re based in Weston Turville, fifteen minutes down the road, so there’s no travel charge and no risk of a late DJ. Every booking comes with £10 million public liability insurance and PAT-tested equipment for the Community Association’s hire conditions, a backup rig in the van, and 5-star Google reviews from parties across Aylesbury Vale.

Wingrave Community Centre disco hire – FAQs

Do you cover parties at Wingrave Community Centre?

Yes – we DJ’d a joint 60th birthday party there in September 2026 with our Gold Package (disco, light-up 60 numbers and the magic mirror photo booth), and we cover parties at the hall and across the surrounding villages.

Where does the disco go in the hall?

On the raised stage in the middle hall, with the dance floor straight ahead. The light-up numbers go halfway along the side of the main hall, where guests can get their photos without crossing the dance floor, and the photo booth works well in the bar area where guests are already gathered.

How much does it cost?

Every party is different, so the best way to get an accurate figure is a free quote – tell us the date, the hours and whether you want the light-up numbers or photo booth alongside the disco. Wingrave is local to us, so there’s no travel charge, and our packages page shows what each bundle includes.

How far in advance should I book?

Saturday nights go first, and the hall itself books up for milestone birthdays, so once you have your Community Centre date confirmed, get in touch – three to six months ahead is comfortable, but it’s always worth asking about shorter notice.

Party DJ Wingrave Community Centre — a DJ’s view of the room

Our white DJ setup on the stage at Wingrave Community Centre with the light-up 60 on the dance floor

Two small things make this hall a pleasure to DJ. The raised stage lifts us above the dance floor, so we can see the whole room and read it properly, and the light walls of the middle hall suit our white setup well. If you’re planning a celebration here, the write-up of Mark and Paula’s 60th shows exactly how it looked on the night.
