The student in these photos is my son — I taught him to DJ from scratch with these same lessons, and he now plays gigs alongside me.

Don’t just take my word for it — here’s a recent client from a night Jack worked alongside me:

“We had a great evening! Music was perfect, everyone danced all night and Daniel and Jack were very helpful and did a fantastic job! Highly recommend.”— Naomi Neves, five-star Google review

Why DJ lessons work

My DJ lessons are hands-on from the very first session — your child starts with the basics and building up, lesson by lesson, to beatmatching, mixing and putting together a set of their own. The lessons build confidence, creativity and real music skills, disguised as the best half hour of their week.

Hi — I’m Daniel, a working DJ with over 25 years’ experience, from club and pub residencies to weddings and parties, and a qualified secondary-school music teacher and head of department. Your child learns from someone who does this for real, week in, week out, and knows how to teach it — I’m enhanced-DBS checked and fully insured.

“What surprised me was how quickly it clicked. Within a few lessons I was putting together mixes I was genuinely proud to send my mates.”— Jack, aka DJ JCH

Who it’s for

Any teen can learn to DJ — whatever their ability or musical background.

Total beginners who have never touched a deck and want a fun, clear way in.
App mixers — teens experimenting with a DJ app at home, ready to learn properly on real equipment.
Young DJs already mixing, who want to take it to the next level and perform like a pro.
Every student records a mix to keep and share — a real achievement they can send to friends and family after each term.
  • One-to-one tuition — personal lessons in your own home, pitched exactly to your child’s level, whether they’re brand new to it or already making mixes.
  • All gear included — I bring the decks and headphones to every lesson. Nothing to buy, nothing to set up.
  • Safe and professional — enhanced-DBS checked and fully insured, and parents are always welcome to sit in.
  • Student discount on gear — every student gets a discount at the specialist DJ shop I buy my own equipment from, for when they’re ready for a controller of their own.

Getting started is easy

Booking DJ lessons is easy — from first message to first mix in three simple steps.

Step 1

Get in touch

Send a quick enquiry with your child’s age and your town, and we’ll take it from there.

Step 2

Book a session

We agree a time that suits your child’s routine — after school or weekends.

Step 3

Start mixing

I arrive with everything and your child is mixing real tracks from the very first lesson.

Simple, termly pricing

DJ lessons run in terms, just like school music lessons — a block of 10 one-to-one sessions that rolls on each term as your child moves up.

A term of lessons

£275/term

10 weekly 30-minute lessons, building skills term on term as your child progresses — cancel any time.

The first lesson is your trial — if it’s not for your child, I’ll refund the rest of the term.

Enrol now

Enrolling starts with a quick enquiry via the contact form or WhatsApp — nothing to pay until we’ve spoken and you’re happy.

Built to keep going — like grades in music

Clear progression. Skills build term by term, with a clear next step to aim for.
Real goals. A recorded mix every term, a certificate to work towards, and a chance to perform — reasons to stay and improve.
Practice between lessons. Playlists, challenges and guidance to work on at home, so momentum keeps building all year.

All equipment provided. Prices are per student — ask about siblings or friends sharing a session.
