Information for Venues
If you are a venue coordinator and we are booked to work with you, everything your team is likely to need is on this page — insurance, testing, checks and the practical detail for planning the room. It is all here rather than available on request, so nobody has to email us and wait.
If there is something your venue needs that is not covered below, call 07590 069490 or email info@fillthefloordiscos.co.uk and we will send it the same day.

Your team is welcome to verify the cover directly. SEDA will confirm entitlement at dj@seda.org.uk, and Hencilla Canworth answer policy queries on 020 8686 5050 or mail@hencilla.co.uk.
What the policy names. The certificate states the policy is operative while we are undertaking activities as: “a Disc Jockey (including work as karaoke host, VJ or as a Master of Ceremonies) and/or the dry hire of audio visual and related equipment and accessories and/or the teaching of DJ skills and/or the hire and operation of Photobooths”.
Portable Appliance Testing
All of our electrical equipment is PAT tested at least every 12 months by a qualified tester.
Last tested: 18 August 2026 · Valid until: 18 August 2027

The full itemised test history for every appliance is also available: detailed test record (PDF).
Risk Assessment & Method Statement
We work to a written risk assessment and method statement covering everything we bring — the disco setup, light-up letters and numbers, and the photo booths. It was last reviewed on 18 August 2026 and is reviewed at least annually, and again after any incident or change to our equipment or working methods.

DBS
Our DJ is DBS checked. We work regularly at school proms, cheerleading and dance awards evenings, and youth and community events, and we are used to venues and schools needing to see this.
The certificate is not published here because it carries personal details, but we will show it to your team or your safeguarding lead on request.
Professional Membership
We are members of SEDA — The Society of Entertainment and Discotheque Agents (The DJ Association). Membership requires evidence of public liability insurance and PAT testing, and members work to a published code of conduct.
Our listing on the public SEDA member directory is at seda.org.uk/directory, so your team can verify our membership directly rather than taking this page’s word for it.
Ofcom Licence
We hold a current Ofcom Programme Making and Special Events licence for our radio microphone equipment, so our wireless mics operate on licensed frequencies rather than shared consumer ones.
Licence number: 7/0145977
Call sign: CS34763
Bands: Channel 38 (606.5–613.5 MHz), 823–832 MHz and 1785–1805 MHz
